ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products
“Amstrong® now comes in standard thicknesses from 1.5 to 25 mm and widths of up to 2150 mm,” notes Jan de Moor, Marketing manager for heavy machinery at ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products. “ Amstrong® Ultra 700 is now available in thicknesses from 4 to 20 mm, and widths up to 2000 mm.”

The Amstrong® family offers customers the option of lightening their products using a higher strength grade in a lower thickness. By lightweighting their products in this way, customers reduce the amount of steel required and the carbon intensity of their products. ArcelorMittal can provide co-engineering support to help customers optimise the design of applications which use the Amstrong® family.
